TOWN OF TROY PLANNING COMMISSION BOARD & ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AGENDA
The Troy Planning Commission Board and the Troy Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a meeting Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Town Clerk’s Office, 142 Main Street North Troy, VT at 7:00 PM for the following purpose:
1) Open Meeting
2) Read minutes of the February 9, 2009 meeting.
3) Consider permit #07-09 submitted by Susan Wellhoff and Robert Engler to construct a deck addition to an existing enclosed porch.
4) Consider permit #08-09 submitted by Anthony Brault to construct an addition to Brault’s Meat Market for livestock.
5) Other Business-

Consider a subdivision permit # 45-08 by Richard E. Lawrence to divide a 37.4-acre parcel at 2564 Searles Road into three lots. One to be 10.1 acres, one 13.8 acres and the other 13.5 acres. The abutting landowners are, Robert Nicosia, William Driver Jr., Dave Smith, Rodger Lemieux, Sean Ahlquist, David Delabruere, Vermont Highland Cattle Company, Chaput Family Farm, George Avery and David Labarron.
Consider a change of use permit # 46-08 by the Town of Troy for a Solid Waste Transfer Station to be located at the Jay/Troy Waste Water Treatment Facility. This facility is located on a 16.55-acre parcel of land, east of Highway 101 in the Rural District. The only abutting landowner is Ila Starr.

Consider a construction permit # 39-08 by Todd Willey for a 40’ by 30’ carport. This carport to be located on a 54.9-acre parcel at 1981 Searles Road. The application includes a request for a 13’ side setback variance. The abutting landowners are, Larry & Sandra Columbia, Philippe and Gail Auger and Newport Town.
Consider a construction permit # 43-08 by Svein Kruse for a second floor bedroom over an existing garage and a 12’ by 24’ second floor deck. The original structure located at 353 East Main Street in North Troy, is only 1’ from the left side property line. The second floor deck will continue along this line, therefore a 19’ side setback variance is requested. The abutting landowners are, Adam & Heather Boulten and the Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railroad.
Consider a construction permit # 44-08 by David Sanders to rebuild a front porch and replace a shed. This property is located at 38 Railroad Street in the village of North Troy. An addition on the front porch will require a 17’ front setback variance and the shed will require a 15’ side setback variance. The abutting landowners are, Cathrine Bowen Bumps, Michael Moses and the Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railroad.
